Based on its multi-annual experience in sailing the Sailing Club of Rio Patras “IASON” organizes special sailing academies in Optimist and Laser 4.7 classes for kids of 6 -18 years old. The Club operates also athletic racing groups in Optimist, Laser 4.7, 420 and Radial classes, as well as in yachting.

The sailing academy comprises theoretical and practical training by licensed coaches, using fully equipped boats, training material, life-vests and escort boats.

Sailing trains both the body and the mind, fortifying athlete’s health and transforms them into dynamic personalities.

Theoretical and practical training sessions take place thoughout the year at Plaz, Patras, during weekends: 10:30-13:30 for the academies and 11:30-15:00 for the racing teams. During summer the program extends also to week-days (contact the Club for eventual changes).
